This July will be 7 years for this blog being active, and sorry to say the last three of which, have little to show in the way of posts, and even less to show in the way of programming-related content.
So, rather than waiting until this coming December, let's get one in now!
Most recently, there has been a flurry of NullPointerException fuckery hurled in my direction, in particular, idiots who don't check for resources not existing, instead forcing everyone to hunt down the source code and trace their lame-ass shit back to see what resource they were looking for.
Yo asswipe: throw new IllegalArgumentException("cannot find resource: XYZ") is what you were looking for! That will give me and everyone else about 30 minutes of our lives back.
